The Nia (Purpose) Foundation, Inc. is a community based non-profit entity of Educational Concepts Group, Inc.
Nia (Purpose) provides educational support in the way of free tutorial services to students in the inner-city communities of Los Angeles, Inglewood, Lynwood, and Compton, CA. Nia (Purpose) was founded by a veteran educational psychologist with over 25 years of service to the inner-city students of Los Angeles Unified School District. Nia (Purpose) is located in the business district of Inglewood, CA. The company works with special and general education students including English language learners to help in improving language arts and mathematics functioning in school.
Supplemental Educational Services - Tutoring
- We service grades Kindergarten through Twelve
- We offer 30-40 hours of instructional tutoring (Depending upon the PPA)
- · We use only credentialed teachers
- Our instruction is small group (5 students to one teacher and one teacher assistant)
- · At least 50-60% of our staff has special education credentials
- · We are teaching students to accommodate their preferred learning style in order to become master learners.
- · Students are learning what it means to study
